Dennis had been having a rough time on the course lately. He was heading out to play when his wife, who hated to see him so unhappy, asked him to come into the kitchen.

"Honey, I hate to see you so unhappy, I want you to try something for me. I want you to think only positive thoughts about your game. No more negatives."

With this new inspiration Dennis headed off and returned five hours later smiling.

"His wife seeing the change askd him, "how did it go?"

"Great," he replied, "in fact I came this close to getting a hole in one."

"Really," she said, "how much did you miss it by."

"Four strokes."
