This is one of those courses you play when you don't want to pay too much money or don't have a lot of time. The holes are generally short and trick free. Though the terrain is hilly and pines are usually on each side of the fairways. There are no designated fairways to speak of. They mow all the grass the same length. The greens are VERY slow, especially in the summer. Only the pace of play is slower in the summer. Try to make a trip in the colder seasons. You can walk 18 holes in 2 hours or less. It can be a very quiet and scenic course. The 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th and 18th might even remind you of sone of those Pine Valley style holes.
